As you all know we are deciding about the future of our planet and we should all take a better care of it. There are many ways to do it and Diesel's new campaign is perfect example!
Renzo Rosso, president of the OTB Group and founder of Diesel, recently unveiled a new and wxciting brand strategy in Milan called For Responsible Living. It is a commitment to take action for the benefit of current and future generations and ensure Diesel's continued success in changing the world for better.
Diesel's announcement of a sustainability strategy is based on four key settings and commitments: Being an Alternative, Striving for the Planet, Celebrating Individuality and Promoting Integrity.
Continuing on its philosophy and positively disruptive perspective, Diesel has officially committed to implementing a responsible business strategy that respects people and the environment. In creating the strategy, Diesel has partnered with the consulting firm Eco-Age and will continue to be supported by Eco-Age in its implementation. With the help of Eco-Age Diesel will also make sure to work with organizations locally and globally to increase community impact as part of the For Responsible Living strategy.

Starting a "For Responsible Living" strategy marks the beginning of a meaningful journey. Over the coming months, Diesel will define measurable goals for the future, continually and publicly monitor progress and demonstrate its commitment to responsible business for future generations. "I grew up and actually still live in the countryside surrounded by nature. It’s a place where I really feel at home and that’s what I deeply love. Today we are facing a new vital challenge, the biggest so far, where we are becoming more aware of the social, economic and environmental impacts of the fashion industry as a whole, and Diesel is ready to face them, ”said Rosso.

"I applaud Renzo Ross for taking this bold step publicly and beginning the difficult journey. It takes courage and dedication and I know Renzo has both. For the past few months, Ego-Age has been following Diesel to set the basic framework for the For Responsible Living strategy. " said Livia Firth, Co-founder and Creative Director of Eco-Age and founder of the Green Carpet Challenge (GCC).
I hope that this exciting new campaign inspires other fashion designers to do similar projects. Not only will they be making good thing for our planet, but also their customers will respect them more.
