New collection is being inspired by Chanel's history!
The cult street “Paris-31 rue Cambon” this year served as a wonderful location for another Chanel pre-fall collection that found its inspiration in the 1990s. In addition to the street, parts of the apartment where Coco Chanel lived was recreated on the catwalk, so we can conclude that the collection and all that came with it were presenting a sort of ode to the Chanel fashion house and a reminiscent of the origins of this iconic designer name.
The Métiers d'Art Collection was presented in Paris, and one of the most interesting features of a recent magazine is the fact that it is the first to be fully created without any involvement of Karl Lagerfeld. Virginie Viard has been Lagerfeld's right hand for a long time, and accordingly she is more than familiar with Chanel's design but conceptual postulates, but still sitting entirely on the throne of fashion institutions such as Chanel is the task only for the best. However, with this and previous collections where Viard was the head, the designer proved and justified her place and this season's pre-fall collection is a wonderful homage to all that Chanel is.

The collection contains pieces made out of tweed, fine silk that are very elegant, feminine and fluid tailoring extends the silhouette of the body. Although the presented designs are completely associated with vintage Chanel, there is a note of a new and fresh vision of Virginie Viard that very skillfully blends in with the traditional postulates and Chanel design signature. Models I mentioned are very feminine, flirting with sophisticated looks and great choices for a woman who is aware of her sensuality but also shows in a subtle and unobtrusive manner that ultimately catches all the attention and dominates all fields.

The leitmotif of the entire collection are the distinctive Chanel details in the form of chains, microbags and an indispensable logo, which in this case look very 'designer' and not trashy. Color palette that combines dark and light shades, but also an interesting twist and play with shadows, definitely gave the collection a charming dose of playfulness that leaves enough space for fashion experimentation and creating your own Chanel look that always looks great and despite new fashion rules, absolutely never goes down from the throne of timeless fashion.
